In September 2010 we got the new Twitter interface with new standard resolutions for different screen resolutions. Depending on the screen resolution and monitor size of the viewer you can use between 41-312 pixels for the right and left sidebar. Twitter’s new interface width is varied between 920px- 1296 pixels. The timeline column is set to be 540 pixels wide, while the sidebar take the rest.
